We love our local and indie authors!

We are truly honored that you want to share a piece of your heart with us and get your book on our shelves! At The Wandering Page, we believe in supporting small, indie, and local, and that some of the most powerful stories come from independent voices.

Our goal is to get as many of those voices on our shelves as possible, while maintaining a curated collection that reflects our values and standards, and keeps our readers coming back for more.

Guidelines and form linked below.

Our Selection Process:

Because we are a small store, we have to be very selective about which books we stock. We will review each submission and respond as quickly as possible with our decision.

It is not a reflection on the value or quality of your work if we can’t accept your submission. We also want to be clear about the kinds of books we want on our shelves:

  • Human-authored: we prioritize the (human) soul of storytelling and will not accept ai-generated or ai-assisted works (non-negotiable)

  • Retail-ready: your work must be professionally edited with a high-quality, professionally-human-designed cover (not ai-generated)

  • Community-focused: we’re looking for stories we believe will resonate with our local readers

  • Promoted online: you don’t have to have a huge following, but we do require that you have a social media presence and actively promote your book

How Our Partnership Works:

If we feel your book is a great fit for our current inventory, we typically start with a small "test run" of 3 copies.

Since our backstock space is limited, we don't hold extra inventory. However, if those initial copies fly off the shelves, we will reach out to you immediately for a restock! We want to see you succeed—when your books sell, we all win.

Ready to share your work?

Please submit your details via the form below. As a small business, we appreciate your patience as we personally review every submission. While we hope to respond to every submission, regardless of acceptance, we will definitely be in touch if we're able to move forward!
